Trying times and happy times!

We have been really busy lately. Saturday we got to go see my cousin, Terry. His band was playing in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. We went over and had dinner with him and his wife before they had to go on stage. It was fun getting to see him and sadly to say he had never met my son and had only seen my daughter six years ago.
We are stuck in the house due to ice. My son was crying earlier because I can't make cotton candy. Of all things he wants me to make cotton candy. I just received a text that we will not have school tomorrow either. This may be a long 2 days!!
Some of you may know that last week it sounded as though someone was trying to get in my back door. I called the police and they came out but did not find anyone. The good news is a man was arrested for breaking in homes in our town. I have to believe that this is the person that was attempting to get in our house. Just lock your doors!!
For those of you who have a prayer list please add B's grandfather to your list. He has had bone cancer for 10 years. The life expectancy for someone with this disease is 7 years and he has exceeded that. However, he feels that his kidneys are shutting down and he is refusing to go to the hospital. Please pray for his salvation. As far as we know he has not accepted Jesus. People have witnessed to him but he usually gets upset with them. Please also pray for B. He is flying back to Tulsa on Sat. and then will get in his car and drive to Houston the same day. This is a very long drive and he will be tired from flying back from Mexico.
