J. had his first soccer game this past Saturday. What a difference a year makes. J. scored a goal after 3 minutes of play. We were so excited for him. He ran up and down the field and played exceptionally well. We were thrilled (especially after last year when he would rather pretend to be an airplane on the field.) At one time during the game we noticed that J's team only had 3 players on the field and we realized that 2 of the players saw the rock pile behind the goal. They decided the rocks were more interesting than the game. The final score was 1-0.
K has her first game on the 28th which worked out really well for us. She will be released by the doctor to play one week from this past Monday.
