B. worked with J tonight on riding his bike without training wheels. It was amazing how J just took off without B holding on. The very first attempt at riding he rode all the way down the sidewalk by himself. We were all shocked. J acted like it was no big deal at first then he started getting excited and would jump off and yell, "yeah!!" and hold his arms in the air. The neighbors were watching and enjoying it as much as we were.
One little story about our "smarty pants" son. He told me today that he decided he is a smarty pants. He said he is smart and he wears pants so he guesses he must be a smarty pants. B suggested that maybe it meant that his pants are smart and J just looked at him like he was crazy.

Yay for the bike ride! I am thinking Nixon will be a teen before she rides a bike WITH training wheels. She just isn't interested!
